Our communication was at first very hard, but later it was better.

We used gestures and sign language.

In the families it was very interesting because the parents don`t speak English very well but they tried their best 🙂 . 

We used German and Slovak words like "dobru chut"  and  "guten Appetit", "Hallo"  and "ahoj", "Tschüss" and so on…

Our English is better now than it was before.

When we listened to the other languages (German/Slovakian) we were very interested in it.

The German students learned Slovakian phrases and the Slovak students learned German phrases. It was very funny because our languages are very difficult. 

 

We both think the week was very good and everybody was really interested. We had experiences what it's like to speak English only all the week.

 

Something about the evenings we spent together

The evenings were very funny and good.

On Monday evening we were at Centro, for about 4 hours. It was very nice, and the german students had the opportunity to show one of our main locations in Oberhausen. On tuesday, we were bowling, it was a very nice evening, too.

Wednesday evening, we were in "Brauhaus". There we had a lot of fun.

On thursday some students were in "Luisiana" on the Centro pears. 

All the evenings were very good.    🙂
